Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfy, especially loved the enormous bed against the old stone wall. They were clean, well-equipped with modern fittings like a fridge and had a quiet air conditioner. The value for money in Hobart was exceptional. The services provided by the staff were top-notch, they were really lovely, friendly, and extremely helpful with parking info. The location was perfect, right on the waterfront with easy access to the markets and other attractions. The dining experience was delightful, offering delicious options like eggs benedict. Overall, a great value for the price.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room, although spacious and matching the picture, didn't offer the expected waterfront view due to the noisy AC unit right outside. On the bright side, the hotel's central location in historic Hobart allowed for easy exploration on foot, even though the nighttime noise on weekends was a drawback.
The old historic hotel has its charm but falls short in some aspects. The room had a musty smell and lacked the expected charm, with cleanliness not meeting the mark and a shortage of fresh towels. Despite this, the location offers convenience and access to key attractions.
The hotel's location is fantastic, very central to everything with access to great restaurants and attractions nearby. The rooms are a little cramped as expected in an old building, especially at level 3. The service was a mix of unfriendly and very friendly and accommodating, with some of the best customer service received on the entire trip. The dining experience was great, a perfect way to start the day touring southern Tasmania.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the room I stayed in was cozy and conveniently located, there were some issues with noise from the bar below. The service was friendly and helpful, and the location was superb with beautiful views. The dining options were somewhat limited, and the facilities were decent but not exceptional.
